Tab/120 mg/5 mL syr: Symptomatic relief of pain & fever. 250 mg/5 mL syr: Minor febrile conditions, reduction of temp & relief of headache & joint muscle pains.
TabAdult & childn ≥12 yr 1-2 tab every 4-6 hr. 120 mg/5 mL syrChildn 6-12 yr 10-20 mL tid-qid, 1-5 yr 5-10 mL tid-qid. 250 mg/5 mL syrAdult 15 mL tid-qid. Childn 7-12 yr 5-10 mL tid-qid, 2-6 yr 2.5-5 mL tid-qid.
Patients w/ liver disease; kidney impairment; alcohol dependence. Concomitant use w/ warfarin & other drugs affecting the liver. Fever >3 days & pain continued for >5 days.
May increase anticoagulant effect of warfarin. Tab: Absorption may be increased by metoclopramide or domperidone & reduced by cholestyramine. Syr: Alcohol, chloramphenicol, aspirin, phenobarb, liver enzyme inducers, hepatotoxic agents.
